  1. These Mwave updates fix the problem of missing sounds within MYST and
  2. loss of System Sounds.  The fixes are
  3. applicable to Windsurfer Version 4 and Audiovation Version 2.0
  4. (native Windows only).

  6. From a DOS prompt:
  7.  
  8. 1.  Copy the following 4 files to the  MWW\PCMWAVE directory:
  9.  
  10.     MWSOUND.DRV
  11.     PLY1M8B.DSP
  12.     PLY2M8B.DSP
  13.     PLY4M8B.DSP
  14.  
  15. 2.  Edit the MWAVE.INI file in your \WINDOWS directory to add the
  16.     following line:

  18.     [Mwave]                 <----- section
  19.       .
  20.       .
  21.       .
  22.     COMMON=C:\MWW\PCMWAVE   <----- add this line
  23.       .
  24.       .

  26. 3.  Restart windows
